New Study and Scene Class

I’m excited to be teaching a new class at Door D. Creative this month! Study & Scene is a unique class aimed at the beginner or intermediate actor. Each week’s class will start with a 30 to 45 minute study session, during which actors will learn skills such as how to break down a script, how to correctly light and film an audition, how to properly format a demo reel & resume, how to deal with rejection and stay motivated, how to submit to an agent, and how to bring truth and heart to your work.

After the study session each week, actors will work on a new (whether it is an imminent audition or an instructor assigned scene). In class, we’ll break down the script and deepen the actor’s understanding of the material and how they fit into the scene’s world in order to bring honesty and meaning to the performance.

At the end of the six-week session, actors will have the tools in place to take their careers to the next level and book work!
